🚀 Advancing Environmental Cleanup with IoT: Proud to present our IoT-Based Water Trash Skimmer Prototype 🌊♻️ Traditional water waste collection methods require continuous manual effort and monitoring. To address this challenge, our team developed an affordable and automated smart system capable of detecting and collecting floating waste from water bodies while providing real-time monitoring and alerts through IoT technology. 🛠️ The Engineering Breakdown: 🔹 Smart Movement Control: Implemented dual DC motors controlled through an L298N motor driver for directional movement and PWM-based speed control using the Blynk IoT platform. 🔹 Automated Trash Detection: Integrated an HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor to continuously monitor the presence of floating waste and trigger the collection mechanism automatically. 🔹 Relay-Based Collection Mechanism: Designed a custom relay driver circuit using a BC547 transistor to safely control a third high-power DC motor responsible for automated trash collection. 🔹 Real-Time IoT Monitoring: Powered by the ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller, the system wirelessly streams control and monitoring data to the Blynk cloud dashboard for remote operation. 🔹 Smart Bin Alert System: Implemented an intelligent bin-level monitoring feature that sends alerts and notifications to the user when the collection bin reaches its threshold level. 💻 Technical Skills Applied: IoT System Development using ESP8266 Embedded C++ Programming Sensor Interfacing & Distance…
