Irving Torres This is the part of AI conversations that feels really important to me. Systems around hiring and access were already unequal before AI, and now we’re seeing how bias can scale even faster when the same tools get adopted everywhere at once.
And what happens when all the talent in the room starts looking the same, sharing similar work experience, perspectives, and pathways while the job is supposedly to reach a mass audience or specific communities? What are we doing here friends?
And honestly I don’t even know whose job it is to fix this right now. Policymakers? Tech companies? HR departments? Educators? Because these systems are moving way faster than the accountability conversations are. Listen I’m biased but I think a collective group of black women would have never let this happen.
