“I never thought Chick-fil-A would need Interior Designers. But in 2023, when a friend suggested I consider a design job opening at Chick-fil-A, Inc., I quickly learned that the company’s Restaurant Development department includes a team of extremely talented designers supporting the more than 3,000 (and growing) Restaurant locations across the country. After a thorough interview process, I started as a Senior Design Lead. I’m honored to work every day with our team that develops, delivers and supports Chick-fil-A restaurant design. Our department has Staff who support each aspect of design and functionality - from the front door, through the dining room, all the way to the kitchen’s back door … and the Drive-Thru, of course! Restaurant Development Staff are highly collaborative. Designers work with teams ranging from facilities, who improve the functionality of kitchen equipment, to brand advertising, who manage marketing elements, Hospitality and Service who focus on Customer Experience, Tech teams who focus on equipment technology, Real Estate, Restaurant Owner-Operators – and many other teams in between. The pieces come together to form Chick-fil-A restaurant spaces where care comes to life. My projects offer me exciting challenges, but I’m met with significant support. I’m grateful to work for a company that both pushes the envelope in pursuing excellence while also demonstrating unmatched levels of care.”
