After weeks of development, testing, architecture planning, and operational design, I finally built DineFlow — a fully production-ready SaaS restaurant operating system designed for real-world restaurant environments.
DineFlow digitizes the complete dining workflow, from customer ordering to kitchen execution and waiter coordination.
The platform includes:
• QR-based table ordering system • AI-powered VoiceOrder Genie for voice food ordering • Live Kitchen Display System (KDS) • Reception and waiter management terminals • Real-time order tracking • Multi-tenant SaaS architecture • Restaurant analytics dashboard • Subscription licensing system • Live synchronization across all terminals • Staff and table management system
One feature I particularly enjoyed building was the Progressive Web App (PWA) experience for customers.
The customer menu behaves almost like a native mobile application directly inside the browser. Guests can scan a QR code, open the menu instantly, add the app to their home screen, use branded splash screens, persistent sessions, optimized mobile navigation, and experience near-app-level responsiveness without downloading anything from an app store.
I also configured the complete PWA environment manually, including: • Dynamic favicon systems • App icons for different devices and resolutions • Browser manifest configuration • Splash screen assets • Mobile install support • Theme-color integration • Cross-device compatibility optimization
